Strong northerly winds will continue across Victoria through the rest of today as a deep low pressure system crosses the Southern Ocean and an associated cold front approaches from the west. Winds will gradually ease throughout Wednesday as the front crosses Victoria and the low moves south of Tasmania. Another front is expected to cross the State later on Thursday, while a high near WA is expected to extend a ridge across the State on Friday ahead of another cold front which is forecast to cross Victoria on Saturday.

Cloudy. Medium (60%) chance of showers in the southwest, slight (30%) chance elsewhere. Winds northerly 30 to 45 km/h decreasing to 25 to 35 km/h in the evening.

Partly cloudy. High (70%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. Winds northwesterly 25 to 40 km/h turning westerly 30 to 40 km/h in the morning then decreasing to 20 to 30 km/h in the late afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to around 11 with daytime temperatures reaching around 19.

Cloudy. High (70%) chance of showers, most likely from the late morning. Winds west to northwesterly 25 to 35 km/h turning southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the late afternoon then decreasing to 15 to 20 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 8 and 11 with daytime temperatures reaching around 17.
