The 2018 Great South Coast Regional Assembly will be held on Wednesday 13 June in Hamilton.

Great South Coast Regional Partnership Chair Emily Lee-Ack is encouraging people across the region to come along to the Assembly and find out what work has been done by the Partnership since it began in 2016.

“This is the third year of the Partnership and it will be fantastic for the Assembly to this year be held in Hamilton, a beautiful part of our region.

“We know that, while the Partnership has had a big role in advocacy on behalf of the region, there is always more to do,” she said.

“We had some great news recently from the Victorian State Government with funding for investment in Stage 2 of the Shipwreck Coast Master Plan and significant new funding for the Princes Highway west of Colac, as well as some critical investment in arts and culture resources locally.”

Ms Lee-Ack said all members of the community are welcome to attend and can register by going to the website - “We understand not everyone can make it to attend in Hamilton on the night so there is

also the opportunity to provide your feedback and ideas through our online engagement website.

“The 2017 Assembly held in Portland was a great event, attended by over 300 people and we are excited to bring the Partnership to Hamilton to showcase the many exciting things going on in this part of the region.”
