Artist in Residence: Container Mural by Sinead Murphy
Monday 11th – Sunday 17th January at Lake Pertobe
Pop by and chat to our artist in residence, Sinead Murphy, whilst she creates some beautiful public art on the shipping container in Lake Pertobe.
Sinead is a graphic designer based in Warrnambool. Sinead’s bold, playful, graphic style – informed by her design practice and background in fashion and textiles – explores texture, pattern and repetition found in the natural world. The mural project will draw on the surrounding area – Lake Pertobe and Warrnambool’s rugged coastline to inspire the elements within.
While you’re there, grab a sheet of sticker dots and help Sinead create some smaller versions of artwork that will be on display later in the month at our open air gallery.
